General Information Speedometer is a benchmarking program for the Macintosh. You can use it to test the performance of your machine and to compare that performance to that of other systems. The best way to get to know the program is to start out by running all of the tests using the Run All Tests command in the Tests menu. Then explore the other menu commands and the help text you will see if you click one of the buttons at the top of this window. You can get back to this window by pressing the help key or by choosing Speedometer Help from the  menu if you are using System 6.07, or from the System Help Menu under System 7.0 or later.
